Mankind Update:

So we do have the picture lock and the movie is starting to come together.  I have now added some effects like a heads up display and some texturing in the background of the ship to give is a grungier feel.  I still have more ambient animation to do, as well as the outdoor CG, and the computer screen animations.  Her are some screen shots to show the difference with the filter and the heads up display:

This is an example of the rotoscoping that I am doing to layer the character over my computer generated art.
